About Us

Global Green Environmental Network is an organization made up of a group of Professional Environmental Professionals from  tertiary schools and certified institutions in Ghana who have researched into Biodiversity conservation and sustainability in Ghana, the sub region of West Africa and other significant areas where the impact has global bearing and consequence
Notwithstanding this, team members or the group work in other major environmental fields of global prominence like desertification and drought thematic areas, water management and integrity, and climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The group was motivated by the high loss of biological diversity in the ecosystem of Ghana through biomass loss, indiscriminate hunting activities, illegal mining for the exploit of mineral resources along water bodies, logging of forest products like timber and other plant species. Coupled with this trend is the increasingly destruction of our forest zones, and soil degradation and soil degradation and poor agricultural practices undermining the very resources on which African Farmers and their families depend on for their very survival.

Notwithstanding the above challenges, we endeavour to sensitize and organize advocacy programmes and promote co-operation between nations to combat climates change and institute measures to reduce the threat of Global Warming.

Finally, to protect our water bodies and international waters from pollution, mismanagement and other illegal practices against international conventions on integrity and sustainable use.
