The programmes of this organization are organized around the following:

SOCIAL EDUCATION

  1. To sensitize  communities on biodiversity conservation and management , legal and policy formulation.
  2. Climate change awareness campaign,  energy conservation and efficiency issues training through local capacity building and sub-region meetings
  3. Encourage advocacy, policy dialogues, and information dissemination to reduce pollution in international waters. Also encourage the restoration and conservation of coastal lagoons and mangrove ecosystems.


GOVERNANCE

  1. Enforcement of international laws governing trans boundary water systems, water hyccinth menance ,promotion of land use planning through appropriate legislation and regulatory instruments,  and transfer of ownership and acquisition.
  2. Embark on research at Ramsar sites to preserve  biodiversity species in their natural state and habitats.
  3. Sensitize corporate bodies in the industrial sectors about emission levels as a way of controlling our pollution ,and its climate change effects.
  4. Fresh water and clean water governance for sustainable development
  5. Encouragement of biodiversity in local areas that fall under international treaties or laws and agreements of conventions.


WELFARE

  1. Relief service to disaster victims eg. Floods and other natural hazards emanating from negligent environmental phenomenons.
  2. Provide supportive workplace, safety measures and policy against occupational hazards from pollution and toxic effects.
  3. Promote healthy schemes for companies and industries through innovative schemes.
  4. Protection of communities from pathogenic bacteria fungi ,virus, protozoan and worms which are inevitable to the environment e.g diarrhea from contaminated water and polluted ones.

 



INCOME GENERATING PROJECT / VOCATIONAL TRAINNING

  1. To offer employable skills to unemployed persons from deprived homes or parentage in income generating ventures such as Batik making, rural handicrafts, pottery or ceramic wares and shear butter making for rural women in the Northern region of Ghana or savanna communities.
  2. Offer of micro financing schemes and small-scale enterprise to assist rural women to gain employable jobs as a scheme to rehabilitate them from relying on natural resources and bad traditional farming and environmental practices
  3. Embark on ecotourism schemes at coastal communities to sustain the natural wetlands of coastal and marine communities by raising funds for their upkeep.


COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTS


  1. To support infrastructure and service development of communities by embarking on the following projects:
  2. Well water and bore hole drilling schemes for rural and deprived areas and communities.
  3. Building latrine and toilet facilities eg. KVIP
  4. Irrigational systems to assist farming activities on large scale basis to meet multiple needs.
  5. Enhance the production and equitable use of water from hydrological cycle to meet multiple needs.
  6. Engage in conservation and sustainable schemes through transfer of  technologies and renewable innovations
  7. Assisting communities to build schools and clinics to meet educational health needs through volunteers.


ENVISAGED THEMATIC AREAS OF GLOBAL GREEN ENVIRONMENTAL NETWORK (GLOGEN)

Global green environmental network envisages to engage in the following:

  1. Ecosystem services: clean water provision, natural disaster relief planning, nutrient re-cycling, ,and sustainance training, biodiversity conservation in plant ecology, project management, global climate change education in school and environmental economy.
  2. Innovations: clean tech developments, research, entrepreneurs and new systems of working on environmental issues.
  3. Sustainable schemes: green economy and business, climate change mitigation, finance, industry, benefit sharing, agriculture, forestry and tourism.
  4. Land and water management adaptation.
  5. Research.
